The benefits and multiple uses of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) make this treatment the most popular to perform an effective, safe, aesthetic procedure with excellent results.
What is the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) breast lift?
In our aesthetic center, we perform the breast lift through a non-surgical procedure in which plasma rich in platelets is used. This aesthetic treatment promises to improve the appearance of breast augmentation without having a prolonged rest, without compromising the patient’s work activity and does not require general anesthesia.
How does the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) breast lift work?
Platelets and their growth factors are found in the blood. Growth factors are natural biological mediators involved in the regeneration and repair of tissues. They are responsible for regulating various processes that occur in the body such as, for example, the production of extracellular matrix (hyaluronic acid) stimulating the synthesis and differentiation of the precursor cells that are responsible for repairing tissue, accelerating the healing process and forming new tissues in the body.
By infiltrating PRP into the sinuses, there is an increase in protein synthesis (water and hyaluronic acid) and formation of new endogenous collagen (formed by the patient) that promotes the creation of new filling tissue and increased subtle volume in the breasts.
Platelets and their growth factors are easily obtained by a simple and quick technique for the patient. In addition to aesthetic medicine and dermatology, this procedure has been used previously in various fields of medicine with excellent results, such as dentistry, traumatology, and maxillofacial surgery.
What can I expect with the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) breast lift?
The result obtained by a non-surgical technique using platelet-rich plasma will be:
- A slight breast lift, which provides a firm appearance by increasing the volume of the breast.
- Improves the appearance of scars and stretch marks by inducing the endogenous formation of collagen and hyaluronic acid.
- Improves the shape of the breast by producing a remodeling and correction of asymmetries.
- The procedure is ideal to improve the appearance and texture of the skin and correction of imperfection on the surface of the breast.
- Indicated in patients who have breast implants but observe a loss of volume or asymmetry in the breasts.
How is the treatment carried out?
The treatment of breast lift with PRP involves taking a small sample of blood from the patient’s arm. Then, the sample taken is placed in a centrifuge that separates the various components of the blood in platelet-rich plasma, platelet-poor plasma, and blood. The concentrated platelet-rich plasma (regenerative cells) of the sample will be taken with a syringe. Before proceeding to initiate the infiltration of the PRP, topical anesthesia is applied in the area to be treated and left to act for 20 minutes. Subsequently, after the time required to decrease the sensitivity, the PRP may be injected into the breast to produce the desired lifting effect.
Benefits of the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) breast lift
- Non-invasive treatment.
- General anesthesia is not used.
- The patient does not have work downtime.
- Minimal and short-term disturbances associated with the treatment.
- It does not require sensitivity tests because the platelet-rich plasma is a natural product extracted from the patient’s blood.
- Lower cost compared to breast implant surgery.
Results with the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) breast lift
The first results are immediate and will be progressive. At 4 weeks the results will be better with progressive changes until 6 months.
Our team of specialists will be responsible for discussing with the patient the procedure to be performed to show what results you can obtain with the treatment and know your expectations, in this way, you can obtain a satisfactory and optimal result according to the requirements and needs.
